In Georgia, anyone charged with DUI (Driving Under the Influence) is required to complete an alcohol and drug evaluation as part of the legal process.
A judge may also order an alcohol and drug evaluation in other substance abuse-related cases, such as reckless driving, public intoxication, or disorderly conduct while intoxicated.
The evaluation consists of an interview and standardized questionnaire to capture substance use history, patterns of use, and related issues such as physical and mental health problems, social and family relationships, and legal issues.
It is used to determine the individual's level of alcohol or drug use and whether they have a substance use disorder that requires treatment or counseling.
Anger management counseling is an effective form of therapy that helps people control their anger and develop effective strategies for managing anger and improving their emotional regulation and interpersonal relationships.
While anger is a natural human emotion, mismanagement can result in issues with relationships, work, and overall quality of life.
During counseling, we work together to uncover your anger triggers and adopt healthy coping mechanisms. We may also explore any underlying issues contributing to their anger, including stress, anxiety, or trauma.
Our theft deterrent program satisfies court-ordered mandates for individuals who have been convicted of theft or related offenses.
The program may include classes, workshops, or counseling sessions focused on theft prevention, ethical decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Participants may also be required to perform community service or other types of restitution as part of the program. The length and format of the program can vary depending on the nature of the offense, the jurisdiction, and the individual's needs.
Completion of the court-ordered theft deterrent program is typically a requirement for fulfilling the terms of the sentence and avoiding further legal consequences.
